Ainsley Maitland-Niles started for the second consecutive game this season as Arsenal ran out worthy 3-0 victors against newly-promoted Fulham at Craven Cottage.
In control from the start, Arsenal embedded a number of their new signings and caused Fulham problem through-out the match.
The travelling side took the lead after just eight minutes when Willian’s spilled shot was poked home by Alexandre Lacazette.
After the restart, Gabriel then marked his debut with a set-piece goal to double Arsenal’s lead.
And then on 57 minutes, the in-form Pierre-Emerick Aubamayeng assured victory for the Gunner with a well-place curling effort.
In what was a thoroughly deserved victory, Maitland-Niles feature for the games’ entirety.
What Does This Mean?
Even though it’s only the first game, Arsenal move top of the Premier Division after attaining the highest goal difference of the weekend.
Next up for the Gunners is their first home match of the season against fellow London rivals West Ham United.
