Goals galore as Liverpool finally lift the League trophy at Anfield after 30 years.
Liverpool lifted the trophy in-style last night as they scored five past Chelsea. The finale to their last home game of the season was nothing short of entertainment
Keita got the goals started with a powerful strike from the edge of the area in the 23rd minute. This would be the first of five goals that Liverpool got past Arrizabalaga.
Alexander-Arnold, Wijnaldum and Firmino would then score before Colossal client Oxlade-Chamberlain put the game to bed. Robertson paced down the left as Chelsea took their free-kick. He then delivered a low cross that Jones dummied to allow Oxlade-Chamberlain to side-foot past Arrizabalaga in the 84th minute.
As fans were not in attendance Captain Jordan Henderson led the champions onto a specially built podium. Sir Kenny Dalglish then handed over the trophy to Henderson.
Families and friends of the champions looked on as they received special dispensation to attend.
What does this mean?
Liverpool has had three successive unbeaten Premier League seasons at Anfield, as they lifted their 19th trophy.
Liverpool’s last game of the season is Newcastle away on Sunday KO 16:00.
