Brief Report

Kasey Palmer marked his first appearance of the season in style after netting two goals in the second half to help Bristol City to an emphatic 4-0 victory in the Carabao Cup Second Round.

Chris Martin opened the scoring for the Robins in the 43rd minute, allowing Bristol to go into the break with the lead.

On minute 48, Palmer doubled Bristol’s lead with a well-taken goal inside the area. He scored a similar goal in the 88th minute to make it brace with a goal from Antoine Semenyo inbetween.

What Does This Mean?

Bristol City advance to the third-round of the Carabao Cup, where all Premier League teams come into play.

The Robins will next face Aston Villa at Ashton Gate.
