Colossal Sports Management are delighted to announce an exciting partnership between our client Raheem Sterling and brand giants Gillette.
This new relationship will see Raheem become a leading ambassador of the company, appearing in several worldwide advertising campaigns across multiple digital platforms.
Since their foundation in the early 1900s, Gillette have been innovators in shaving and have been involved in sports marketing since 1910.
Raheem joins an illustrious group of past and present football greats that have worked with Gillette including Pele, Lionel Messi, David Beckham and Thierry Henry.
On the field, the current PFA Young Player of the Year and Football Writers’ Footballer of the Year has made a crucial impact for both club and country – reaching the semi-finals of the UEFA Nations League with England and completing the quadruple with Manchester City.
As well as his success on the pitch – it is his activities off it that have seen Raheem labelled as the most marketable footballer on the planet according to prestigious publications such as SportsPro.
On the partnership, Chief Executive of Colossal Sports Management Aidy Ward had this to say: “We are delighted to have brokered the partnership between our client Raheem Sterling and Gillette.
“Gillette are a brand that need no introduction.
“Their rich history of success speaks for itself and we are delighted that their ambition as an organisation is one that closely matches the ambition of Raheem on a number of levels.
“We look forward to a strong and successful working relationship with Gillette over the two-year term.”
From the side of Gillette, President of Global Grooming Business at Procter & Gamble Gary Coombe added: “Raheem is a great footballer, but the reason we were very keen to join up with him was because he is doing wonderful work beyond the world of football.
“His stance on tackling racism is very congruent with our values and the sort of person we want to be associating ourselves with.”
