Manchester City 2-2 Crystal Palace
(Aguero 82’, 89’ – Tosun 39’, Fernandinho 90’ OG)
Raheem made his 20th appearance in the Premier League this season as the 25-year-old started in Manchester City’s 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
City’s leading scorer in the campaign was at the forefront of the action for the hosts at the Etihad, completing 88% of his passes along with four shots at goal as his side dominated 72% of the match possession.
Despite Raheem’s determined efforts to put the quadruple holders in the driving seat, Crystal Palace’s threat on the counter-attack was notable. Although Sergio Aguero’s brace looked to have snatched the points for City, Wilfried Zaha’s cross was turned in by Fernandinho during stoppage time.
What Does This Mean?
Raheem’s side are now 13 points behind Alex’s Liverpool in second place with the league leaders hosting Manchester United on Sunday.
Up next for Raheem is a midweek clash against Sheffield United on Tuesday night with Chris Wilder’s men seventh in the top-flight.
