Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 Manchester City
(Bergwijn 63’, Son Heung-Min 71’)
In a match full of excitement and entertainment in which Raheem certainly played his part in, it wasn’t to be for the England star and his team as Tottenham defeated the Premier League champions 2-0 in north-London on Sunday.
The 25-year-old showed both his individual flair and great chemistry with his teammates, playing on the left-wing of a formidable front three alongside Sergio Aguero and Riyad Mahrez.
Raheem also displayed his strength, topping the list of aerial duels won with three among them after having to work even harder as City were reduced to 10 men following Oleksandr Zinchenko’s red card.
What Does This Mean?
City remain second in the top-flight, 22 points behind Alex’s Liverpool with thirteen league games left until the end of the season.
Next up for Raheem is more Premier League action on Sunday as West Ham travel to the Etihad with kick-off at 4:30pm.
